Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FindLand platform (“Platform”), operated by FindLand (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. Nature of the Platform
FindLand is an online marketplace that allows users to publish and discover land and property listings. We are not a real estate broker, agent, developer, legal advisor, or financial institution.
We do not own, sell, verify, guarantee, or broker any property listed on the Platform. Any transaction or communication occurs directly between users at their own risk.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under the laws of Sri Lanka.
3. Account Registration & Responsibilities
- • You must provide accurate and current information.
- • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- • You are fully responsible for all activity conducted under your account.
- • You must notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
4. Listings & User Content
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, ownership, and authenticity of all listings and content you upload.
- • Listings must not be false, misleading, fraudulent, or illegal.
- • You must have the legal right to publish the property.
- • You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote your content.
- • We may remove, restrict, or edit content at our discretion.
5. Fees, Plans & Payments
Certain features may require payment, including listing fees, promotional placements, subscriptions, organization plans, seat limits, or add-ons.
- • All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
- • We may modify pricing at any time.
- • Failure to pay may result in suspension or restriction.
6. Prohibited Conduct
- • Posting fraudulent or duplicate listings.
- • Circumventing platform fees or contact systems.
- • Scraping, copying, or reverse-engineering the Platform.
- • Interfering with security systems or ranking mechanisms.
- • Harassment, spam, or abusive behavior.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties regarding listing accuracy, availability, legality, ownership, or transaction outcomes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FindLand shall not be liable for:
- • Any property transaction disputes between users.
- • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities.
- • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- • User-generated content inaccuracies.
Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to the Platform in the preceding 6 months.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FindLand from any claims, damages, or legal expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your listings, or violation of these Terms.
10. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts without prior notice if:
- • You violate these Terms.
- • Fraud or abuse is suspected.
- • Required by law.
11. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, software, branding, database structure, ranking systems, and content (excluding user content), is owned by FindLand and Printair Advertising and is protected by intellectual property laws.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
